It could be through purchasing books, offsetting field trip costs, supporting the purchase of technology for students or, lately, in helping to fund raise for the building of a new playground.

March 9th Bake Sale
PES Parent Council will be holding a bake sale fundraiser. All funds raised will go towards the new school playground. We are looking for any families who are interested in helping with this by bringing in baked goods by March 8th @ 4PM. Students will be able to purchase individual baked goods during their lunch hour on March 9th for $1 each. Also Parent Council will be selling trays of baked goods during parent teacher interviews that evening as well.
We require all items to be nut free since there are allergies in the school. If you are sending items in a Tupperware container please clearly label the container with your first and last name so we can ensure you get your container back. Feel free to send in a disposable package as well (ie: Ziploc bag). If you wish to bring something for the sale, please fill out the Google Form that was shared below. Any questions, please email us at penholdelementary.schoolcouncil@gmail.com
PES Parent and Society Councils meet on the second Tuesday of each month. These meetings include hearing from the school administration, a member of Penhold town council, and Penhold FCSS. Parents have the opportunity to hear and discuss with the school what is coming up as well as the school to have the opportunity to listen to parent input.
Our PES Society Council raises money for many initiatives that support the school including supporting funding field trips, special guest speakers, special activities and resources to be used in the classroom.
Parents are welcome to attend these meetings. There is the possibility of child care being offered if needed. Parents are asked to reach out to the parent council through email if child care is needed ahead of time.
