Mrs. Lisa Baird

First off, I want to say how lucky I am to be a part of the Penhold Elementary School Team. It is filled with tremendous people, each whom bring something special to the atmosphere of PES!

I have lived in Red Deer for the past 18 years. I moved from Olds, where I grew up to attend Red Deer College in the Education Program. I obtained my Bachelors Degree through the University of Alberta Collaborative program. In the fall of 2018, I finished a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alberta.

I live with my husband Adam, and our son Hudson and daughter Lennon on an acreage between Penhold and Red Deer. In the winter months we love to ski in the mountains and in the summer we enjoy spending time at our cabin, camping, boating and travelling.

In my spare time, I play volleyball, read and enjoy the outdoors. 

I am honored to lead Penhold Elementary School and work alongside such dedicated educators, students, and families. Together, we strive to create a school community where every student is valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. I look forward to continuing our journey of excellence and innovation. 

I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us all at Penhold Elementary School!
